Team Building Trip | Wonderful Yangjiang Getaway with the AiGather Family

AiGather’s team building trip to Yangjiang featured museum tours, seaside leisure, sea fishing and island visits, bringing precious happy memories to every member of the AiGather family.

Under mild, pleasant weather, the entire AiGather team headed to Yangjiang for a relaxing three-day team building trip filled with joy and precious shared moments.

Stop 1: Maritime Silk Road Museum of Guangdong

Our first stop was the Maritime Silk Road Museum of Guangdong, famous for the Nanhai No.1 ancient shipwreck. This wooden cargo vessel sank near Hailing Island in the late 10th century and is now preserved in the museum’s signature Crystal Palace—a one-of-a-kind underwater exhibition tank, the only such facility across Asia. Around 200 cultural relics unearthed from the wreck are also on permanent display, showcasing prosperous ancient marine trade.

Stop 2: Dajiao Bay Scenic Area

Next, we visited Dajiao Bay, a national 5A-level tourist attraction on the southwest coast of Hailing Island.

Blessed with bright sunshine, soft sandy shores, crystal-clear seawater and fresh, oxygen-rich air, Dajiao Bay boasts a renowned reputation both domestically and internationally.

Team members enjoyed various seaside activities: building sandcastles on the beach, sunbathing on the shore, and riding waves in the sea. Laughter and cheerful chatter filled the whole beach.

As night fell, we held a lively beach barbecue. We sang together, breathed in the cool sea breeze and listened to the rhythmic crash of waves, fully unwinding from busy work.

Stop 3: Offshore Cruise, Sea Fishing & Coastal Sightseeing

On the third day, we enjoyed brand-new marine experiences.

We boarded a cruise ship and rode over rolling waves before trying offshore fishing. We caught a rich haul of seafood including mantis shrimp, hairy crabs and octopus.

Later, we wandered along the shore of Horsetail Island to pick up seashells, and finished the day’s itinerary with a visit to Mazu Temple.

The three-day getaway slipped by in the blink of an eye, and our trip came to an end.

Every joyful laugh and warm interaction with our AiGather family has left us unforgettable memories. We will carry this sense of unity and happiness back to our daily work.
